Glassa roof tile is our newest tile that combines the strength of a concrete tile body with the beauty and color resistance of ceramic tile.
Through collaboration with Kubota-Matsushita Panasonic, Cengkareng Permai adopted Japanese technology to present two of the newest product variants with Ceramic Coating: Glassa Sunshine and Glassa Soil which guarantee the color will not fade for at least 10 years.

GLASSA COATING TECHNOLOGY
This technology was first applied in Indonesia by PT. Cengkareng Permai in collaboration with the Japanese company KMEW Co. Ltd (Kubota and Panasonic). Glassa Coating consists of 3 different coating layers which are produced through 4 heating processes. All Glassa tile products have a 10 year warranty certificate that the color does not change over time.
THE SECRET OF GLASSA COLOR RESISTANCE
The Difference Between Inorganic and Organic Coating
Glass Coating is an Inorganic coating with a Silicone base material which has a molecular bonding energy greater than UV light energy so that it can withstand damage to the coating surface from sunlight. In contrast, acrylic paint is an organic coating based on Carbon (C) which has a bonding energy that is smaller than UV light energy, causing a limited coating life.
